Christian managed to get a few days fishing in at a tricky venue in Essex called Orchard landing himself a 30lb 2oz & 23lb mirror. He was using 35lb Jel-E-Wyre and size 7 Sabre hooks .They worked perfectly with a new test bait from Mainline ...

Duncan been on the bank and sent us a quick catch report.I located some fish in a shallow area of the lake and found a couple of clear areas amongst the weed.Having baited up with hemp, maize and Creamino I received four bites in a hectic afternoon spell, landing 3 20’s and an upper double. The fished moved out to deeper water overnight, I managed to sneak another upper double the following morning once the Sun had warmed the shallows. The rigs were my usual Combi rigs tied with Chod Wyre and Jel-E-Wyre, to a size 5 Chodda hook. ...

Micky has been away in France last week for a visit after Covid rules had been slackened a little, arriving at 2 small lakes a friend owns, he was the only person there, (excellent :-). he put out a bit of bait the first evening of arriving but didn't fish, the next day he set about putting his rods out, keeping it as short as possible he was overwhelmed with his visit which landed him some amazing fish1x 23lb mirror, 1x 30lb common, 1x 30lb plus mirror & 16 x 40lb plus carp . Christian been at the Orchard last week with great results and sends this I did a quick overnighter at Orchard in Galleywood knowing I had to be of by 5am. I had an absolute one toner from my rod that was 4 feet from the bank edge, my Sabre size 7 and 35 lb Jel-E-Wyre doing the job perfect. This 30lb common was my first thirty from the lake.
