Matt Has been at it again with this amazing catchKing of the pond “The Brown” 52lbs 2ozWith Wellington Country Park being closed for spawning, Yesterday had the incoming new winds and drop in pressure, I was rushing to get my work done for the day & heading down to the Kent park lake.I found a few fish on the new wind textbook stuff, This see me casting at showing fish, 40 mins later the rod was away and I was in the water doing battle with this huge fish, I have wanted this carp in my album for a very long time! Duncan has had an amazing weekend fishing .Fishing a quiet corner of the lake, I managed a three fish catch in the afternoon. Lee has had an amazing week hitting a NEW PB. 50lb MirrorIn the first 24hrs not much happened but i had seen some fish rolling in front of me. As the sun was setting it was looking more promising.Then just gone midnight I had a screaming take, after a good 20 minute or so of battling the fish finally slipped over the net cord.When I looked in my net I was shocked to see what fish I had caught.The fish I caught turned out to be one of the biggest fish in the lake called The Northern.
