A day ticket fishery where you can catch carp in an uncrowded, peaceful environment.

This highly regarded and picturesque day ticket fishery is set in the tranquil countryside of the beautiful Cotswolds, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, just 3 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold. 

On site there is ample secure parking. There is also a well stocked carp store (click on button for info).  Other facilities include toilet and drinking water tap.

Around the 2 ½ acre lake are 12 large purpose built, wood chipped swims, offering a comfortable all weather setting to fish from.  They are positioned to enable casting to strategic areas and ensure that the best degree of privacy is attained for anglers.  Our aim is to offer the discerning carp angler quality fishing in an uncrowded, tranquil, litter free environment.

Previously run as a mixed fishery Chad Pool has always held a good stock of carp, with the record being 28lbs.  These fish have been retained while a winter netting programme was carried out to remove the other species.

This original stock of carp has been enhanced by the introduction of 50 C3's from the Fishers Pond strain.  These fast growing fish will offer the angler plenty of runs.  A further stocking of mid 20's from Mark Simmonds has completed the Pool's transformation into a specialist carp water.
